The seafarers mission Eemshaven has acquired an electric shuttle bus replacing the diesel one.

Eemshaven being a hub for wind farms producing green electricity, the mission having their own solar panels providing more electricity than is used and a general awareness that any step towards a greener environment is welcome, was enough reason for this step.

The choice for the Toyota was based on proven reliability, 10 year warranty and the local dealer for its reputation

We are pleased to be able to offer the free shuttle service for the seafarers who appreciate our service and our hospitality. Vessels not within short walking distance can call the mission for her crew to be picked up and also brought back to the vessel after closing time. We are allowed to take max. 8 persons at a time, we try to combine with other vessels in the same basin when the groups are smaller.
